FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is a fee-only fiduciary, and why does it matter?
Fee-only means I'm paid directly by you and never earn commissions from selling products. Fiduciary means I'm obligated to put your interests first. Together, that removes the conflicts of interest built into commission-based advice — my only incentive is to give you guidance that's genuinely right for you.
Do you sell investments, insurance, or manage my money?
No. I don't sell securities, insurance, or any financial products, and I don't take custody of your money. I'm a financial coach and educator — I help you understand your options and build a plan, and you stay in full control of your accounts and decisions.
How is coaching different from a traditional financial advisor?
A traditional advisor typically manages your investments for a percentage of your assets. I focus on education and coaching: helping you understand your whole financial picture, make confident decisions, and build lasting habits — at a flat, transparent price, whether or not you have assets to manage yet.
Who do you work with?
Everyday individuals, couples, and families who want to take ownership of their finances — from people tackling debt and building their first budget to professionals and business owners planning for retirement. I work with clients locally in Atlanta and virtually across the country.
What happens in the free consultation?
It's a relaxed, no-pressure conversation. I learn about your situation and goals, answer your questions, and we talk through what a plan could look like. There's nothing to buy and no obligation — it's simply a chance to see if we're a good fit.
How do the coaching packages work?
Every package starts with three core sessions — Discovery, Planning, and Solutions — to build and validate your plan. From there, longer commitments add ongoing check-ins and advanced planning at a lower monthly rate. You can compare the tiers on the packages section of the site.
Do you meet in person or virtually?
Both. I'm based in Atlanta, GA and meet local clients in person when it's convenient, but most coaching happens virtually, so I can work with clients anywhere in the country.
